Pear Pottery

is a pair of art and architecture-loving clay fans, husband and wife Renée and Paul. Working out of their Vashon Island studio, Pear Pottery creates a variety of sculptural ceramics, dinnerware, and housewares. A mid-fired white porcelain clay is used, which offers both beauty and strength to complement the whole range of work. Both minimal restraint and over-the-top free-flowing decoration are represented in their pieces. Opposites attract.
